Happy Wednesday, dear readers! On Monday I returned to Dallas after a totally restorative and wonderful weekend with my family in Austin. We celebrated my mom’s birthday, and my cousins also hosted a little get together to shower my sister who is due in December! She’s having a bigger baby shower in November, but I definitely didn’t want to miss the family get together to celebrate! It was so nice being back home and spending some quality time with my mom and sister. We shopped, got mani/pedis, played Mexican Train and ate some delicious meals! My mom is actually driving up to Dallas today to spend the next couple nights with me as we continue to celebrate her birthday this week.

Needless to say, my heart is very full and happy at the moment, which is great since I’m heading off on my New York adventure next week. I’ve already started the packing process, because I may have to ship some items and don’t want to forget anything! I am SO excited!!! I did my best to focus on neutral items I can wear repeatedly with different things, since I’ll be there so long. This collage looks tailor made for a trip to the city, don’t you think?
