Happy Wednesday! I hope y’all had a fabulous 4th of July and are enjoying a short week. I still have a few days left of vacation, so I’m soaking every second and making the most of my time here in California! Mostly I’ve been at the pool, but I have spent a couple days shopping and have done quite a bit of damage to my credit card. I made my annual pilgrimage to the Desert Hills Premium Outlets and snagged a fabulous ruffled black blazer and an incredibly cute and comfortable striped sweater dress at Alexander McQueen. While designer and still expensive, the discounts were INSANE! I can’t wait to wear these pieces in New York this fall! I also found a new bag and invested in a couple of cashmere Hermes scarves as a birthday gift to myself. I turn 36 next week!

Needless to say, I think I’m done shopping for a bit! Oh wait… the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale starts next week. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if there are deals too good to pass up! I’ll be working on my NSALE content as soon as I get back to Dallas this weekend, so stay tuned for my top picks from the sale this year!
