INTRODUCING MINI CAPSULES: RESORT 2021 MINI CAPSULE WARDROBE

THE STYLE SCRIBE // RESORT MINI CAPSULE WARDROBE

Surprise!! As a treat to start the new year off on a good note, I thought I’d release a special “mini” capsule wardrobe focused on resort. While I don’t have the bandwidth to do these every month, I’d like to occasionally sprinkle mini capsules in with the large seasonal capsules I do throughout the year! For example, in the summer I might do a travel mini capsule (think European destinations!), and when winter comes, a mini capsule focused on ski destinations. I know many of us are still not traveling (myself included!), but I think it’s fun to get inspired for the season ahead even if you don’t have a beachy destination in your near future! A girl can dream, right?!

While most of my capsule wardrobes focus on neutrals, this capsule is particularly color free. I’d like to do one later this season with more color, once we see more beachwear and swimwear become available for spring/summer! There’s just not a ton to choose from right now (especially at lower price points), so I thought I’d keep it simple with black, white and woven pieces. Looking on the bright side, you likely already own a bunch of the items in here: a versatile LBD, black swimsuit, white denim, a straw tote… it should be pretty easy to replicate most these looks without shopping!
