Happy Friday from New York City! I arrived earlier this week and have been getting unpacked and settled, swapping my closet out from summer styles to my fall favorites. The weather is already starting to feel crisp here in the city (at least for this born and raised Texan!), so it feels like perfect timing to launch my Fall 2025 Capsule Wardrobe! If you’re new here, I’ve been creating these elaborate capsule wardrobes since 2019 – they’re always a labor of love, but can be a super helpful guide when shopping for the season and getting dressed every day. If you happen to find a new piece or two to buy from this capsule, that’s amazing! But I keep these very neutral and streamlined on purpose, that way you can recreate these looks featuring staples you likely already have in your closet. No need to buy the exact items featured here if you own something similar! You’ll see everyday basics like black + white tees and tops, jeans in a few different washes, and versatile neutral toppers and accessories. Nothing too out there, nothing too trendy. The reason I do these each season though is to show you the silhouettes and styles I’m eyeing at the moment – these tend to change based on current trends, so it’s an opportunity to freshen up your own closet staples!
