While shopping in Newport this summer, I ended up finding this rich brown Chanel crossbody bag and knew it was going to go home with me! One of my very favorite handbags is this almost identical Chanel style in black that I got back in 2014 – I can’t believe I’ve had it for nearly a decade. The silhouette is perfect for day-to-night wear because it’s not too big, like some other Chanel styles can be. I’ve worn it repeatedly every year since I got it, so I knew this bag would be just as useful! A few other reasons I love it? This bag has real structure, thanks to the frame having stiff edges – I can set it down and it doesn’t fall right over like the classic flap bags tend to do. While this style has less interior space than my black one, I love that has more vertical space than the flap bags have. You’re just able to fit so much more! Most of my Chanel bags are black or beige/nude, so I’m thrilled to add a rich cognac color to my collection.
