Since I just returned from vacation and only had two days to put together my NSALE content ahead of Early Access, I won’t be doing a full Nordstrom Anniversary Sale capsule wardrobe like I did last year… but I DID narrow down my top picks for pieces worthy of a fall/winter capsule! One item I always buy multiples every year at the NSALE? Sweaters. Specifically, Vince sweaters! They always make such amazing, high-quality staples in cozy cashmere. A couple I have my eye on this year include this classic V-neck, this short sleeve sweater, and this sleeveless tunic. I’m not really in the market for any dresses at the moment, but there are two I have my eye on from the sale this year! I love the look of this sleeveless black mock neck dress and this printed minidress. Both look like they’d be super versatile later this fall/winter! I don’t want to jinx myself, but the minidress actually looks long enough for me… we’ll have to wait and see!

In all honesty, I haven’t had too much luck in past years of the NSALE when it comes to jeans, pants and bottoms. The styles are fairly limited, and oftentimes the fit just isn’t right – at least for me! But if you’ve been eager to try a trendy denim style and don’t want to spend a fortune on a trend, now’s your chance to give it a whirl! While I’m pretty confident this skirt won’t look good on me, it’s on my list to try – it’s such a hot look this year!

I don’t know about you guys, but I almost always find *at least* two pairs of shoes during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I’ve found comfortable sneakers for my daily workouts, chic heeled sandals for hot summer nights and stylish boots for the coming season. In my personal opinion, the category with the most promising options this year is that of sneakers! From on-trend New Balance styles like this and this, to my fave Flyknits from last year, to neutral athletic styles like this, this, this, there’s something for everyone. I also really love the look of this pair featuring a mix of rich hues for fall and wearable neutrals!

I’m not very adventurous when it comes to trying new beauty or skincare products, but when the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale comes around every year, I always like to try one or two new things! It’s also my time to stock up on favorites I use all the time, like this Stila liquid eyeliner – it helps me create the perfect winged cat-eye look for nights out! If you’ve been holding out on the Dyson hairdryer because of the steep cost, it’s currently marked down $60! Still pricey, but a discount certainly doesn’t hurt. Believe me when I tell you, it is worth every penny! I’ve personally been tempted to buy an LED Light Therapy Mask, so this set from Dr. Dennis Gross is definitely on my wish list.

I also love this cheese board + serving bowl set for entertaining! Understated, neutral and they look easy to clean.

What I love about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is that they often bring back or repeat their greatest hits! For example, I bought these sneakers last year in a cream/black combo and have worn them nearly every day since. They are such a comfortable sneaker and fit like a glove! This year they brought the sneaker back in a different colorway, which I will absolutely be buying. Another great example is this cashmere cardigan by Vince! It was part of the NSALE years ago – like at least five years ago! I bought it back then in black and camel, and still own both pieces. They’re super thick, soft and cozy for throwing on as an extra layer for WFH, travel or just everyday errands. So excited to see they brought this style back again! If you’re looking for good undergarments, I always love these thongs, this T-shirt bra and this strapless bra.
