I took this photo long before social distancing began, but it seems appropriate to use now! A couple Fridays ago I shared this post on activities to keep you busy during shelter-in-place/quarantine/social distancing, along with this link to an old post sharing my favorite TV shows to binge watch! I also recently shared a post featuring reviews of a number of audiobooks I’ve listened to in the last several months here. But I thought today it would be fun to share some of the things I’m actually watching, listening to and doing now! Just trying to fill the void that used to be regular outfit posts with content that makes more sense during this time.

When I first started social distancing, I decided to go through all of my favorite fantasy movies. Below are the ones I’ve gotten through so far! I mostly bought them vs rented on Amazon because I know I’ll want to watch them again – I watch the Harry Potter series at least once every few months!

The Lord of The Rings Trilogy (the second and third movies are free on Netflix, but the first is not!)

Harry Potter

The Hunger Games

I recently decided to rewatch the entire series of LOST! This show came out when I was in college, and I never managed to make it the entire way through because it gets so weird… but this time I’m determined to go all the way to the end! You can find LOST on Hulu if you want to join me in rewatching the series (or watch it for the first time)!

I, like everyone else, watched Tiger King on Netflix. That show is WILD, for lack of a better word! I’m also watching Hulu’s Little Fires Everywhere, which is SO good so far. I tried reading the book last year, but couldn’t get through it – definitely prefer it condensed as a show!

These are my current go-to weekly podcasts – it’s a wide variety, but they make me happy!

I’m also listening to some podcasts for brief coronavirus updates: Coronavirus Fact vs Fiction, Coronavirus Daily and Up First by NPR.

On Friday I just finished To Love and Let Go by Rachel Brathen. It’s about one woman’s journey through grief and finding herself. While obviously not a totally upbeat read, it was well-written and offered up some good lessons in dealing with grief, codependency, etc. Below are the books up next on my Audible app! Several are ones suggested by the Bad on Paper podcast girls, so thanks to them for the recs!!

An Anonymous Girl by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen

Hope Heals by Katherine and Jay Wolfe

No Happy Endings by Nora McInerny

The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen
