We’ve been incredibly blessed with amazing weather here in England this past week! The air is crisp, the sun is out and the leaves are changing – the ideal backdrop for my tour through the Cotswolds on Tuesday!
I’ve long heard about the charm of the Cotswolds, and decided to see it for myself with the help of a tour guide. It’s pretty tough to do the Cotswolds if you don’t have a car, as all of the villages are at least an hour and a half from London, and aren’t all close together. I decided to take part in this tour, which takes you to four villages and you have lunch in one of them!
It was the perfect way to see the charming little villages, but I do wish I’d had more time in Bibury. This is where we had lunch, so we only took a brief walk down Arlington Row and then went straight onto lunch – I feel I missed quite a bit since Bibury is known for being the prettiest of all the villages in the Cotswolds. I’m considering doing what I did in Bath and taking a trip back for a night, so I have ample time to explore all the streets!
I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone who only has one day to dedicate to the Cotswolds, but wants to get an idea of what these villages are like – they are so quaint and cute! The tour guide was super friendly and very knowledgable, sharing lots of fun facts and tidbits along the way. Hope you enjoy my photos from this fun day!
