If you’re hoping to add a few versatile, budget-friendly pieces to your wardrobe you can wear all spring, summer and into early fall, look no further than this post! I wanted to highlight a few items that get a bunch of wear in my wardrobe that are back in stock AND a great price, so let’s jump right on in.
You may recognize this jacket if you’ve downloaded most of my Capsule Wardrobes. I’ve now featured it in the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 capsules, as well as recommended it as an optional topper in my latest Summer 2020 capsule. It truly goes with everything! Green utility jackets are almost like denim, they just WORK. If you take a peek at the capsules I mentioned, you’ll see just how wearable they really are. The exact one I featured in the Fall and Spring capsule is the one I’m wearing in this post, and it just got restocked!!! It just so happens to be on sale for under $100 AND it’s available up to a size 3X. I’m wearing a small here, which fits great! If I wanted to style it over sweaters in the fall season I probably would have needed to go up a size – I mostly wear mine with tees, tanks/camis and dresses though here in Texas! Can’t recommend this wardrobe staple enough!
The next two items are more seasonal for hot weather, but I wear them both a ton. While I love a cotton or jersey tee for year-round wear, linen tees are my go-to when the temps rise. They just feel more relaxed, light, and the textured look doesn’t show sweat as easily – a very important factor to consider when you live somewhere as hot as Texas! My favorite style is this one by Banana Republic – I’m wearing a small here. Last but not least is a neutral pair of comfy slide sandals. The ultimate throw-on-and-go shoe for summer, in my opinion! It’s a style that looks great with dresses, denim, shorts, skirts, and anything poolside. Both are very comfortable, lightweight and easy to pack/carry for travel. I particularly love the cushioned sole on this pair I’m wearing in these photos Makes for an even more comfortable all-day wear. I’m wearing my normal size (9 1/2) in both pairs of sandals!
