1. CELEBRITY
It’s hard to believe Kiernan Shipka is 25 when so many of us still think of her as Sally Draper in Mad Men! She’s in the new season of Industry on HBO Max, and she’s opening up about moving further into adult roles and what it was actually like to grow up on one of the most iconic shows of the 2000s. She talks about learning to let go of perfectionism, trusting her instincts more, and choosing projects that feel creatively exciting rather than overly strategic. She comes across as surprisingly self-aware for someone who’s essentially been working in Hollywood her entire life!
2. FASHION
If you’ve ever wondered how The Row became such a phenomenon, this piece breaks down the brand’s twenty (how?!) year history. The Row started with an incredibly simple concept: the Olsens were trying to make the perfect white T-shirt! Slowly the brand has evolved into one of the most influential luxury labels in fashion built around extremely high-quality materials, impeccable tailoring, and a very intentional lack of logos or hype. What I’ve always appreciated about The Row is that the pieces are luxurious (with a price tag to match!) but also genuinely wearable — beautiful coats, sweaters, and bags that you could realistically build an entire wardrobe around. This is a favorite handbag I get tons of use out of!
3. CULTURE
This article was making the rounds the other week, and I finally made time to read it! It’s about men who seemingly can’t stand their wives, and the (sometimes bizarre) ways women then share anecdotes that illustrate it online. Think: a groom smashing wedding cake in his wife’s face after she explicitly said not to, or a husband who buys his wife a cheap Christmas gift when she buys him an expensive Xbox. I know the point of the article was to dissect online rage culture, but honestly it just reminded me why I’ve refused to settle for the bare minimum in a partner! Some of this behavior simply would never fly for me!
4. HEALTH
I’ve been a proud pet parent for six years, so obviously the headline of this article caught my eye: Get a Dog, Live Longer? The research is pretty compelling — studies have linked dog ownership to lower blood pressure, reduced cardiovascular risk, and even a lower chance of dying after a heart attack or stroke! Scientists think part of the benefit is obvious — dogs get us outside and moving — but companionship plays a big role too…especially for people who live alone! That said, researchers are still debating whether dogs cause better health or if healthier people are simply more likely to own dogs in the first place. Either way, I feel very justified in considering walks with Reeses part of my wellness routine!
5. TECHNOLOGY
AI in healthcare is a topic I’m not quite sure where I stand on yet. It feels like there is a lot of promise, but I’ve been generally very uneasy about AI lately! This piece explores how AI could genuinely improve medicine — from helping doctors catch subtle abnormalities in scans to handling tedious tasks like documentation so they can spend more time with patients. At the same time, there are (understandably) real questions about accuracy and whether a machine can ever really replace human judgment and empathy. I’m all for making healthcare better, as long as humans stay firmly in the loop!
6. INDUSTRY
The traditional sponsored post is evolving! For years brands treated influencer campaigns almost like mini TV commercials with detailed briefs, rigid scripts, very obvious #ad moments! These days, brands are experimenting with looser partnerships: gifting, affiliate links, long-term collaborations, and trips designed to spark organic posts rather than require them. In some cases creators are even helping shape the products themselves! It’s been really interesting to see the industry move away from transactional one-off posts and toward longer, more creative partnerships. As a creator, I love having more collaborative relationships with brands! It makes the content feel more authentic and less transactional — a win for everyone.
