Happy Monday AND happy first day of fall! Vacation is officially over and it’s back to reality for me. I really enjoyed a break from my usual workday- my screen time was actually down 15% last week while we were in Sag Harbor! Kind of unheard of around here, tbh. I’m feeling refreshed and ready to jump back into my routine, and take on some new things I’ve been brainstorming over the last several weeks.

I wore this look for my first full day back in the city two weeks ago, and received so many compliments! This top is such a striking shade of blue that feels both fresh and timeless at once. The color is very transitional too – it would look amazing with white denim in the summer, but feels rich and jewel-toned enough for the fall season too! Plus, with the breezy, lightweight fabric makes it a no-brainer for these first weeks (and months) of fall – especially if you live somewhere hot like Texas! These embellished flats also got a lot of commotion, and for good reason… they are FABULOUS! And actually very comfortable. Win win!
