SHONA JOY ELLIOT MINI DRESS
When shopping for my Paris trip, I knew I wanted a couple of fun night-out dresses in my arsenal! When I first pulled this look out of the bag and was getting it on, I worried it might be too short – that’s usually what happens with most mini dresses on me. Although it is shorter than most of the other silhouettes I tend to wear, I decided the higher hem was worth it for the ultra-chic neckline! The strappy, halter silhouette feels so modern and effortlessly cool.
Grey isn’t a color I wear often, but this dress might have me changing my tune! It feels very appropriate for dinner or a night out on the town in New York City this fall too – I love the idea of styling it under a black blazer once the temps drop. The subtle draping at the waist and bodice lend a flattering touch, giving this short look some shape! Other than that there’s not much to this number… but I’m obsessed! I received so many compliments when I wore it, which is always a bonus.
