It’s that time of year, where summer styles are getting marked down to make room for new fall merchandise! For those of us with quite a bit of the warm weather season left, it’s a great time to cherry pick a few fresh finds to close out the last weeks (or months, depending on where you live!) of summer. Today, I fly back to Texas for a couple weeks before continuing onto Carlsbad, California for three. Then, followed by one more week in Austin. Also, on September in New York is still very hot. So, I know I’ve got at least two months left to wear most of my summer goods!
THE BEST SUMMER SALE FINDS YOU CAN BUY AND WEAR NOW
This cotton poplin blouse and skirt is one look I’m eager to wear again in California, and it just so happens to be on sale right now. I bought it with my trip to France in mind, and it ended up being such a useful set! I styled the skirt with my favorite Khaite top during the day since it was hot out. Then swapped the strapless top for the matching blouse for an extremely chic and perfectly Provençal look for dinner! Also, I was in Paris and not Provence, as you can see, but I digress.
The elasticized waistband on the skirt and crop top make it a comfortable set you can truly wear all day! Because of the heat, I did opt to wear this nude slip skirt underneath – didn’t want any inevitable sweat soaking through! It is noteworthy to mention the skirt has pretty sizable pockets at the hips too – I kept my phone in there for easy access throughout the day. I adore the elegant boat neckline on the top too! It’s a totally timeless look that I know I’ll wear again in summer seasons to come.
