ZIMMERMANN ILLUMINATE LACE SHORTS
A heat wave is upon us all, so shorts it is! Bermuda shorts, to be exact. They’re having a moment this summer, and while I’m not sure I’m sold on the knee-length version, as I tall woman I definitely gravitate toward longer styles. I used to shy away from wearing shorts at all, simply because there weren’t enough chic options at a length I enjoyed wearing! I’m just not comfortable in anything super short. Thankfully we’ve got endless options these days at all inseam lengths! This pair of Zimmermann lace shorts immediately caught my eye while I was perusing new arrivals earlier this spring! The lace feels like a feminine, fresh take on your typical summertime short. It’s an elevated option for casual, hot summer days if you’re wanting something more polished than denim or linen!
Another staple for steamy days I’ve been getting a ton of use out of is this refined cami by Banana Republic! I have it in black and white, and both have been incredibly versatile. Sleek and modern worn as a stand alone piece, but the neckline is perfect under all kinds of blazers, jackets and cardigans!! I got the XS in both colors and wear my go-to strapless bra with them. It’s such a great basic!
