Yesterday I attended a fabulous fashion show at Neiman Marcus Austin, put on my sister Alexandra! In case you didn’t already know, she’s a longtime sales associate/stylist at NM and absolutely kills it at her job. My mom and I went to watch the runway show, then popped over to Yamas for lunch! It was such a fun morning, and gave me an opportunity to break out my new poplin top and skirt set from Zimmermann. I love this look styled together, but each piece looks incredible styled separately as well! I decided to keep the rest of my look fairly casual since it was a daytime event, and opted for my new $50 jelly flats and this Little Liffner bag (that was so kindly gifted to me!). I was so comfortable all day! In terms of sizing, I’d recommend sizing down in the shoes if you’re a half-size like I am – they only come in whole sizes! I’m wearing a 0 in the top and a 1 in the skirt.

Anyway, back to my outfit! I slipped on this Zimmermann set while shopping with my mom at the beginning of March and fell instantly in love. The pieces are equally effortless and elegant, and as a blank canvas, are so easy to style! Styled together or as separates, this look is incredibly dynamic and verstatile, making it a worthy buy for summer travel. Style the top with high-waisted jeans and heels for a fun dinner out!
