It feels a bit diabolical to be posting an outfit featuring a sweater and coat as I sit here in Austin, where it’s currently 73 degrees as I type… but I know there are some of you still experiencing chillier temps, and figured I’ve got content to share from my shoot in New York – so why not share it! This coat is a favorite of mine that I purchased a few years ago. It’s by Theory, and has been such a useful piece for the late winter/early spring season when I’m getting sick of all the darker neutrals in my wardrobe. The weight is ideal for wearing in the 50s and 60s! It’s super soft and the color is a beautiful, subtle sage that I’ve loved reaching for over the last several years. When I came upon this striped sweater during a perusal of MANGO’s new arrivals last month, I knew it would be a great layer to style with this coat! It’s priced at $50 and features such an eye-catching combination of colors. It’s a lightweight style, making it another ideal piece for transitioning the seasons!

While coats may not be on your mind at this point in the season, it IS a great time to buy them! So many chic styles are marked down during all of the end of season sales happening right now. From elegant, classic staples to more statement styles in bold shades, there are looks for every vibe! Today, I thought I’d focus on the latter as that’s what I tend to gravitate towards at this point in the season.
