After three nights in Dallas, I’m on my way back to Austin today! It was so nice to catch up with friends for a few days, bop around Highland Park Village, and grab a bite at some of my favorite Dallas eats while I was in town. I fly back to New York on Friday, so the next 48 hours will be spent doing laundry and repacking, working on my next gift guide and playing a bit of catch-up from the last few days. The holiday season is maybe my favorite time of the year in New York, although fall is pretty hard to beat!

But you really can’t deny how charming and festive the city gets after Thanksgiving – so many twinkly holiday lights, seasonal markets, elaborately decorated store windows, and even a few decked out restaurants…. not to mention all of the fun parties and events that happen in the lead up to Christmas! Needless to say, I can’t wait to be back.

As you can probably tell if you’ve been watching here and on my LTK/Instagram, I’m really leaning into brown this season! I picked up this cozy Jenni Kayne coat during Cyber Week and have already worn it like four times. It’s SO soft and is the perfect shade of chocolate brown! I also noticed this The Row bag I’d been eyeing finally came in stock on NET-A-PORTER after promptly selling out on MYTHERESA a few weeks ago.

So, I waited too long and missed it, and have been thinking about it ever since. I snagged the last one and it’s sold out everywhere now! The price isn’t too bad for a designer bag, and it’s the perfect style and size for me. I’d wanted suede, and I’d wanted a size that could go day to night. To me, the Bindle fits the bill! Hopefully I love it in person as much as I loved it online. It should arrive today! In terms of shoes, I’m suuuuuuper tempted by these sneakers and these boots!

I already have the Savette pochette bag in black with silver hardware and wear it A TON. So, when I saw that it is now available in brown in the same size and this wider style, I was seriously considering snagging another one. My mom cautioned me against buying a duplicate of a bag style. I’m glad I waited because The Row bag became available again! But if you’re in the market for a brown bag, I truly cannot recommend that Savette style enough. It’s SO chic and has been such a versatile piece for me!
