When I found this plum-colored tee in Chicago, I wasn’t even thinking about this blazer I’d purchased about a month prior. It wasn’t until I got back to New York that I realized it was a near perfect match! This color is such a deep, rich seasonal shade that I have clearly fully embraced this year. Burgundy is always a solid choice, and I’ve got a couple accessories in that beloved color, but there’s something even more elegant and unexpected about this shade to me. I guess I just don’t see it a lot, which makes it all the more intriguing!
If you love the look of this pretty purple hue, don’t miss these additional eggplant styles I’m eyeing for the fall/winter season!
- In need of a new winter coat? This one is under $250!
- This asymmetrical satin skirt is SO gorgeous!
- This gown is a knockout for a black tie wedding or gala this season!
- This barn jacket is an exciting departure from all the tan and brown versions I’ve been seeing!
- If you’re on the hunt for a sophisticated option for the office, this dress is a great one.
- Speaking of work, don’t miss this oversized tote!
- Been dying to get my hands from some pieces from The Frankie Shop, but things sell out so quickly! I sadly missed the chance to get this leather jacket + matching miniskirt in my size.
- If you’re more of a pencil skirt gal, this vegan leather style is so sleek!
- This embellished number is another pretty formal dress for fall/winter!
PS: I have to tell y’all about these trousers. You know I’m an AGOLDE denim stan, but over the last year I’ve been buying more pants and working them into the mix. In September I came across this Danika style and ordered them immediately! Even though they’ve got a slight barrel look to them, I think they’re a cool style you can easily work into your office outfits without feeling too trendy. I obviously took it further with these of-the-moment Reformation pumps, but stick to a standard pointed toe pump and a more streamlined belt for a very chic 9-to-5 look! I’d say these pants run a bit big. I’m wearing the 26 here and could’ve sized down!
