CAPPING OFF THE PERFECT WEEK IN NEW YORK

This week has been a perfect New York week! Weather wise, the vibes are immaculate. It’s cold enough for chunky sweaters and even a coat at night! I’m thriving. I’ve also had two pretty sensational evenings out this week, both of which I did solo! I already told you about Monday night here, and Wednesday night was equally thrilling. I hit up Broadway to see Oh, Mary! If you haven’t heard of it, it’s a comedic stage play by Cole Escola focused on Mary Todd Lincoln, Abraham Lincoln’s wife. It originally ran off Broadway, but found immediate success and graduated to the likes of the Lyceum Theatre on Broadway. It is HILARIOUS.

It is not something I’d recommend taking your parents or your children too, as it salacious and inappropriate on so many levels… but definitely go with your friends, or go alone like I did! I ended up making a friend in the front row where I was sitting, and introduced myself to a former Grey’s Anatomy star on my way in! It was such a fun night and honestly, I think going by myself enhanced the experience.

Tonight I’ve got my West Village Athletic Clubs squad dinner, which will be a great opportunity to meet other team members who are in other squads! I love that I’m getting the opportunity to be around all of these people when I’m looking my best, as opposed to sweaty and red first thing in the morning after a hard workout. Other than that my weekend is pretty chill, which I’m looking forward to! I’ll be probably end up in a similar getup tomorrow or Sunday – this Anine Bing sweatshirt is a recent purchase that I’ve already been wearing a bunch. It is SO cozy and soft… the perfect sweatshirt for these chilly fall days! I’m in the XS!
