TRENDING FOR FALL : SCARF STYLING
Scarf styling on sweaters and coats isn’t new, but it certainly is having a moment this fall/winter! One of my all time favorite sweaters is a Rejina Pyo piece I snagged on major sale back in 2021, which features one long scarf attachment that wraps along my chest and over my shoulder. It is SO chic and something I still get excited to wear when the temps drop! It’s definitely more of a dinner/night out piece. The wrap element is not secured and would probably be a bother if I were running errands or doing everyday tasks.
At the start of this season, I came across the above sweater by new-to-me brand, COMMISSION, and see it as a more useful, everyday version of that Rejina Pyo sweater. While it’s more sleeve styling than scarf styling, you get the idea. The sleeveless style makes it ideal for both Texas and New York temps depending on the time of year. Also, I love how you can wear it tied or undone! I actually featured this look in a reel on Instagram a couple weeks ago. So, if you’re interested in seeing it undone.
This sweater seems to be sold out at the moment, but I’ll let you know if it comes back in stock! I opted for the small. It’s slightly cropped, but tucks in nicely to my high-waisted jeans. In the meantime, peruse some other chic scarf-styled coats and sweaters this season below!

PS: if you’re looking for a solid pair of jeans that stretch (I know those are hard to come by these days), this pair is elite! I’ve been wearing them on repeat since I bought them. Super comfortable and very flattering. I find Veronica Beard jeans to run on the smaller side!
