Happy Wednesday! On Friday I fly to Chicago for a quick weekend visit to celebrate Jessica’s wedding! I haven’t been back since last July, so looking forward to being there and participating in all of the fun festivities. On Friday we’re going to a Cubs game (first timer over here!), and I’m not entirely sure what to wear. Then we have the wedding reception/party Saturday night (she already had the ceremony on the 14th!) and a farewell brunch on Sunday, but otherwise I’ll have Friday night and most of Saturday free to enjoy Chicago. I’m currently trying to decide between this dress and this dress for Saturday night – both are great options, so I’m having a hard time choosing! Aside from that I’m just taking a couple pairs of jeans, some black tops, a leather jacket and a selection of black accessories. I kept my packing list simple because I didn’t want to have to bring a bunch back from New York for such a quick trip! I’m also saving room in my luggage for the boots I plan to pack for my flight back to the big apple next week.

On Tuesday I head back to NYC for a longer stay, and I cannot wait to be back for the fall season! I have no travel plans all of October and November until I fly back to Austin for Thanksgiving, so I’ll have plenty of time to enjoy all the city has to offer this time of year. I wouldn’t say no to a jaunt upstate for apple picking though! Since I’m missing the State Fair of Texas this year, I hope to partake in some fun fall activities in my new spot.
