THE EDIT: MANGO CHECK PARKA

On Monday I returned from a long holiday weekend in Santa Barbara, California. Roday I’m flying up to New York for a couple of weeks! It was a very quick turnaround. So, it meant unpacking, doing laundry, getting organized, catching up on work and seeing my family, all within 36 hours. I’m happy to say I was very productive yesterday, and hope to continue that streak while I’m in New York! All of this bouncing around in August definitely has my work schedule in a bit of a tailspin. So, looking forward to a more relaxing fall once I’m able to stay put in New York on October 1st. Until then, I’ve got a two week New York visit. Then, returning to Austin for my mom’s birthday, and Jessica’s wedding in Chicago at the end of the month!

Speaking of Jess, on Friday I have a comprehensive trip recap of our time in Santa Barbara and Solvang coming to the blog. The silver lining of my second flight being delayed yesterday was being able to get most of that blog post done! I’ve already added a list of the places we visited here. However, stay tuned on Friday for a way more detailed recap and photos!!
