REFORMATION REFERENDUM
Is it the early 2010s again? Peplum looks and drop waist silhouettes are back, baby. Back in May I picked up this black peplum vest and have worn it a bunch already! Because the top itself makes a statement, it requires very little styling = minimal effort required. Who doesn’t love that? The bejeweled buttons certainly add an elegant touch too. I most recently wore it in Austin with a pair of neutral linen shorts and black flat sandals for a chic daytime ensemble – see that look here! It could be super cool over a black midi skirt too as we head into early fall. It’s definitely not a one hit wonder! It’ll be especially useful the first couple months of fall if you live in a warm climate, while it’s still blazing hot.
Reformation has always been a great spot to snag stylish separates and dresses, but lately they’ve been really leaning into their shoe collection! My first pair of Reformation shoes was a chic pair of black strappy sandals with a wearable-but-cool heel. Sadly I wore them out in just a couple summers, but it was a pair I wore almost daily – they were even comfortable enough for galavanting around Paris! You can eye them in the first outfit of this post.
Ever since I’ve kept a close eye on their shoes! They’ve done an amazing job of designing on trend looks in a variety of useful (and fun!) colors, and the price point is wonderful for the quality. From sleek flat sandals, to trendy Mary Janes and sickening heeled styles, Reformation is one to watch if you’re on the hunt for footwear! Don’t miss these red patent slingback flats, these brown heeled sandals, and these strappy burgundy sandals. They’ve got my vote!
