Fall might feel far off, but according to the new arrivals at my favorite shops, it’s time to start shopping for it! I’m still thoroughly enjoying summer here in California, but I have a feeling I’ll be itching for those cooler fall temps once I’m back in Texas in a couple of weeks. While I may wait a little while longer to buy for the coming season, I’m definitely starting to compile a wish list of sorts! Below are some items I’m eyeing…

While we’re continuing to see an abundance of red and burgundy as we head into fall, two other hues that will be in the spotlight are bottle green and chocolate brown. The highly sought after Margaux bag by The Row would be an excellent buy in this eye-catching color, as would a chic pair of leather pants as an alternative to black. While chocolate brunette hair is having a moment, so is this color in clothing! I’d personally love to get my mitts on these barrel leg jeans or this cozy cashmere sweater. I’m also kind of obsessed with this scarf as a statement accessory!

Beige accessories aren’t something you typically see this time of year, but it’s a welcome surprise to me! I’m always looking for soft neutral styles to wear in the colder months of the year. I think it can look SO chic and offers a nice break from black, which can start to feel drab as the season moves along. I ordered these ankle boots to try, and then I came across this tall style yesterday I think I should try as well. Not sure which I’ll keep (maybe both!), but I have a feeling they’d get a lot of wear with my wardrobe.

Speaking of shoes I’m in the market for a couple of additional flat shoes I can wear walking around New York that aren’t boots and aren’t sneakers. I have a pair of black loafers and some ballet flats, but I think I’d prefer a more modern looking flat – luckily there’s quite a selection of them at the moment! The Row, Alaia, Khaite, Le Monde Beryl and more have designed a ton of chic styles recently. These sadly sold out in my size super fast, but I love that look. This calf-hair pair is also very chic and is a fun option for fall!
