My time in Carlsbad is coming to a close this week! After three weeks in SoCal, on Sunday I’ll be flying up to Carmel to spend the week with my mom and stepdad. It’s been a wonderful three weeks here, with my mom visiting the first week, my friend Elizabeth coming up week two, and this final week is a little more relaxed on my own! I have had a few social plans with friends who live in the area, but it has been nice to take it easy, catch up on some work and not be in hostess mode for a minute. After a week in Carmel I’ll be back to the Texas temps, so I’m savoring every second outside here! It’s so lovely to not be sweating when laying by the pool, and to need a jacket or sweater when dining al fresco at night. Texas could never.

In addition to the #NSALE shopping I’ve done, I’ve picked up a handful of new things shopping on this trip that I’m super excited about. I’ve already been wearing my electric blue Lululemon set and this ice blue Alo set for walks and workouts while I’ve been here! These new colors are amazing and a fun break from my basic black leggings. I picked up a new white tank and a poppy-red dress from the Theory outlet that I have yet to share on Instagram, along with my favorite jacket from last fall in navy for this coming season.

I got SO much use out of the black one this fall/winter! Also, I went nuts in Anthropologie and Warby Parker, which you’d know if you follow me on the LTK app – exhibit A, B, C, D, E and F for my try-on. Needless to say, I’ll definitely be shipping some things home before I fly out to Carmel on Sunday! My luggage was already overweight on the way here…
