THE EDIT: DODO BAR OR OMI ONE-SHOULDER DRESS

Happy Wednesday! The rainy forecast in New York this week has me craving sunlight and warmth, hence this resort-inspired roundup. I’m obsessed with this dress! The colors are absolutely gorgeous, don’t you think? It would make for an excellent wedding guest dress for a destination wedding this summer.

I’m also loving the current trend of burgundy not being solely for cold weather months! Also, we’re seeing a lot of chic accessories in this rich hue and it being styled as a neutral. I’m tempted to try it out myself with this sexy pair of strappy sandals! They look like a great heel height for me, and for city living.

Speaking of city living, I’ve got some fun plans this weekend with my SMU crew up here as one of our friends is coming in town for the weekend. From a gallery event Thursday, to dinner out Friday, and a crawfish boil on Saturday, I’ll be booked and busy going into the weekend!

I’m looking forward to that, especially after a pretty chill weekend last weekend. Don’t get me wrong, I needed to recharge – I’m thankful the gloomy weather on Sunday allowed me a day to watch TV, get organized + clean around my apartment and do laundry… but now I’m ready for social interaction again!
