Nine times out of ten, I’m an online shopper. Not only is it generally easier for me to find what I’m looking for, but that’s also just the nature of my business! So often when I’m shopping in-store somewhere, like in Dallas for example, they don’t have the right size available or just have very limited stock. Many of us simply have better luck online because of the endless options!
After years of not really enjoying in-store shopping, spending more time in New York has given me a new appreciation for it. I think partly it’s because there are so. many. stores. But also because they always have the newest arrivals, the hottest items, along with exclusive pieces that other stores around the country don’t get! While I’m doing my best to not go overboard with shopping every time I fly up to NYC, I try to spend at least one day perusing the latest and greatest at a different set of stores on each trip.
NEW NEUTRALS FROM JENNI KAYNE
On my most recent visit, I stopped in Guest in Residence and goop on Bond, then sidled over to check out John Derian, Sezane, Loeffler Randall, and finally Jenni Kayne. I wasn’t looking for anything in particular, and brought home a couple of items including this chunky and cozy neutral turtleneck from Jenni Kayne. Their boutiques are always SO aesthetically pleasing! They had a bunch of really gorgeous cream, camel and grey pieces, all of which would look fabulous now and into spring. Shop a few other styles that caught my eye below! Size down in the sweater I’m wearing – it runs big!
- I tried on this plaid coat and thought it was gorgeous! The perfect soft neutral color scheme, IMO.
- I adore the hourglass, structured silhouette of this cardigan! So elegant.
- These kitten heel slingback would be super useful. Style with a straight leg jean for a dressy casual look!
- Not into neutrals? This chartreuse sweater would add the perfect pop of color to your spring wardrobe!
- These shearling baby booties would make an excellent baby shower gift for a friend who loves fashion!
- This striped alpaca sweater looks perfectly oversized and super soft!
- I wouldn’t mind getting a pair of these slippers for myself…
