EYE-CATCHING COLORFUL PARKAS AND PUFFER COATS FOR WINTER

MERRITT BECK IN THE NORTH FACE NUPTSE PARKA IN BOYSENBERRY

If there’s one thing that’s a non-negotiable for New York winters, it’s a warm puffer/parka. I purchased my trusty black Canada Goose parka back in 2020 when I thought I’d be moving to Chicago, and it’s actually come in handy for winter walks with Reeses when I was living in Dallas these last several years. It was one of the first things I reached for to move to New York, as it’s the warmest coat I own! While it’s certainly reliable, wearing basic black every single day can feel monotonous – at least for me. And I love wearing black! But sometimes you need to mix it up, and when I saw this boysenberry-hued parka on Shopbop in December I knew it would make an excellent addition to my New York winter wardrobe. Plus, the color is sure to be easier to see when I take Reeses out at night, don’t you think? It’s not reflective, but it’s not blending in either. It’s super warm, and with a color that’s also super fun, I feel like it makes for a great day to night option on the coldest days of winter when wool is no longer an option.

If you’re looking to brighten up your outerwear collection, don’t miss these eye-catching styles from Shopbop!
