I mentioned last week that I was surprised by the improved quality of Banana Republic pieces, and this sweater dress is one of the examples! It’s not often I come across a sweater dress silhouette I find that attractive on. With any knitted, fitted fabric, things can pull in the wrong places, be too big up top and too small on bottom, etc, etc. There are just too many variables that make it unlikely a sweater dress is going to fit properly. With that said, I was so so excited to find that I actually love how this sweater dress looks on me! I put it on and immediately felt comfortable and confident in it – not tugging at it necessary. I love that while it hugs the waist and slightly at the hips, the fit isn’t super tight and gets more relaxed through the skirt. The length is perfect for styling over tall boots and the off-shoulder neckline is one of my favorites!
