When packing for my five weeks in New York, I only packed one coat. In hindsight, this was a mistake! I’m so used to not being able to wear coats until at least December in Texas, and even though I know New York gets cold earlier in the season, I just had a hard time believing I’d need multiple options in October. Initially, I was right, but only because it was unseasonably warm the first part of October… but the last week in the city, the temps dropped a solid 30 degrees! I was SO glad to have this Toteme coat with me. It’s a very oversized fit, which makes it ideal for styling over bulky sweaters! The draped neckline feels effortless – it’s such a wonderful day-to-night style. It’s not the heaviest coat though, which is why I was grateful to have received this faux fur style ahead of a campaign shoot. I wore it almost daily the rest of my trip!
