The last week has been quite the whirlwind! As soon as I arrived back in Dallas on Friday, I had to unpack, organize and then repack for a weekend in Austin. This weekend was my sister’s baby shower, but you may have noticed I didn’t post anything about it! My sister was not actually able to attend her own shower due to an unexpected turn of events that ended with her in the hospital. I won’t be sharing more details, but she is doing great and both are being monitored closely! We’re hoping he’ll keep cooking a few more weeks before making his debut. Because it was too late to cancel, my mom and I still attended the shower, which was absolutely beautiful. Naturally, I took a million photos to show my sister and her husband, and had plenty of treats to bring them at the hospital!

As you can imagine the next few weeks are a bit unknown, but I decided to drive back to Dallas yesterday because I have a lot going on there that needs to be taken care of before Thanksgiving! It’s going to be a wild holiday season, that’s for sure.
