I wore this look to dinner last week with a brand partner, and felt so chic in it I knew I had to shoot it for a blog post! The temps had dropped a bit, but it was still fairly warm during the day so a coat didn’t feel necessary. A bright Hermes cashmere scarf is a fabulous way to not only add a surprisingly warm layer, but also to add a punch of color and interest to a look! The title of this blog post refers to the scarf, but also happens to be the name of the cute place Reeses has gone to daycare on long days when I don’t have a chance to come back downtown and let her out! I was naturally drawn to this scarf by the dog print, especially since it has a Frenchie on it – but the colors sealed the deal. It features black, white, cream, brown, along with shades of blue, green, marigold and orange. I’ve definitely been on a bit of a kick with Hermes scarves this year, but this is the last one I’m buying for a long while – I swear!!!
This ruffle cuff sweater is the perfect statement staple for everyday wear. It’s appropriate for the office, but has enough pizazz for nights and weekends! It also comes in stripes, if that’s more your vibe. I wore it again for dinner this week with these jeans and these boots for a more edgy look. Finally, I snagged these sunglasses on my first day shopping in Soho! The Nanushka store has so many gorgeous clothing items, but I had no idea they made amazing accessories too. In addition to the sunglasses, I bought this top there – so so pretty! I loved these boots in cream, but they sadly didn’t have my size. Such a sleek, modern look!
