On Sunday Reeses and I returned from a two week summer getaway! We first flew to Carmel for four nights, then jetted over to Colorado for ten days in the mountains. The first few nights were spent in Aspen before we settled in Breckenridge for a week! I know I can really only speak for myself, but we had the BEST time. The weather was incredible – the mornings were in the 40s, and most days the high didn’t get above 70! I loved being able to take Reeses practically everywhere – on all walks/short hikes I took, most of my meals in town, out on the lake with my friends… I think it’s safe to say she’s a mountain girlie, now! The only thing she didn’t participate in was my fly fishing expedition on Saturday morning. Colorado is SO dog friendly and the weather was perfect for her all day long. I couldn’t dream of sitting outside with her in Texas this time of year!
