Happy Wednesday! This weekend I am flying up to Chicago for the first time since the pandemic! If you’ve been around here for awhile, you’ll know I almost moved there. My last trip up there, in January 2020, I was looking at apartments trying to decide where I wanted to be! Then the world shut down and my plans changed. It ended up being a blessing in disguise and I’m very happy I stayed in Texas, but I’ve been eager to visit for awhile! I’m excited to catch up with Jess, Kate and other friends while I’m in town, and enjoy a brief break from the Texas heat again this weekend. Follow along on Instagram to see what I get up to!

I’ve done some damage on my credit card over the last several weeks, first while shopping in California, and now with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! It’s safe to say I’m set for awhile, and have stocked up on some really excellent, elevated basics for the coming season.
