CELEBRATING THE START OF A NEW ERA!

MERRITT BECK IN A LA VIE STYLE HOUSE SEQUIN CAFTAN

Even though I’m not a huge Swiftie, I have to take a page out of Taylor Swift’s playbook to announce the launch of my new website and branding!! This new branding and design truly feels like a new era for me. For over a decade my blog has been known as The Style Scribe, which is a name I came up with after about a year after starting my fashion blog in 2011. OG followers know what the original name was! Throughout the years I’ve made changes and tweaks to my website, but have never done a real branding overhaul from start to finish. In November, I started working with Gadabout Creative to develop a fresh look across all platforms that could help define this new era of content creation for me. While I’ll still use The Style Scribe for business purposes on the back end, I thought it was time to embrace my name and put that at the forefront of my brand.

I wanted the new branding to reflect how I feel today, over a decade of blogging later, as an accomplished, stylish and confident woman in my 30s. I desired a timeless, elegant look, and I wanted my appreciation for high quality pieces and designer fashion to come through the design and new branding. I just wanted everything to look more grown up… and I’d say we definitely accomplished that!

In the process of developing the website design, I decided to trim the fat, if you will. When I first started my blog in 2011, the entire focus was on fashion. Over the years I added more and more content verticals to include travel, skincare/beauty, home, fitness, food, etc – all of that on top of my weekly EDIT, capsule wardrobes, outfits, and more. In the last year, I’ve felt a desire to streamline my content, and get back to the basics of what I truly love to create: style content. If you peruse my navigation menu now, you’ll discover a more simplified approach. If you’re looking for a post in particular that may not be in those broad categories, just type some keywords in the search bar!

In addition to designing my logo and website, Gadabout also developed a new look for my newsletter, capsule wardrobes and templates for all of collages + social media content. I am SO happy with how it all turned out and am excited to have all of my content feel cohesive across all channels going forward! We even updated the Instagram account formerly known as @TSSEDITED to reflect these changes. I hope you’ll take a few minutes to explore and get to know the new website, and I sincerely hope you love it as much as I do!

CHEERS TO A NEW ERA!!! Thank you for continuing to follow along and support me over the years… it means the world!!
