I feel like Mach & Mach shoes had their big debut, I want to say, during the holidays last year? I saw them all over the place and thought they were fabulous, but I couldn’t really see myself wearing the pump version with the ankle strap (like this). That seemed to be the go to style at the time, but I just didn’t feel like I’d have many opportunities to wear a shoe silhouette like that. After that, the brand came out with a bunch of PVC and brightly colored styles, again that I didn’t feel like I’d get much use out of. I’m so glad I waited to buy a pair, because I absolutely love the newer styles they’ve come out with for fall! I ultimately fell in love with this square-toed leopard slide at Nordstrom while I was in San Diego last month.

There were a few styles I was eyeing, including this and this, but thought the leopard was the most flattering and wearable style. Surprisingly enough, the shorter heeled options weren’t as comfortable to me. I wear a lot of solid black, tans and creams in the fall/winter, so I thought the leopard print would add a fun pop to my looks and take them up a notch.
