There are only four days left in this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! My goal this year was to buy fewer, better items, and I definitely feel like I accomplished that goal. One of my very favorite purchases from the sale this year was this Veronica Beard tweed blazer! It features black, grey, tan, blue and cream threading, making it incredibly wearable with so many items in my closet. Because it’s such a classic look, it’s super easy to dress up or down! I love the way it looks styled with a sexy lace cami and on-trend heels, but it also looks super cool when styled with a lightweight sweater and sneakers.

Another standout item for me in this year’s #NSALE was this pair of black straight leg jeans. It took me awhile to pull away from skinny styles, but I’m finally wearing more straight leg looks on the regular! I still plan to pull out my skinny jeans for wearing with boots, but otherwise I’m committed to the more current look of straight and wide leg styles. This pair of black jeans is flattering and very comfortable! I’m wearing my normal size, and I love that they have just a hint of stretch to them.

When I bought these heels online, I wasn’t sure I was going to love them on… but I am obsessed! My style is pretty classic, and I love how these add a trendy touch to my outfits. They come in a few different colors, but the tan suede seemed the most timeless and wearable to me! They fit true to size.

I always manage to snag a few cashmere sweaters during the Anniversary Sale, but this is the one I fell hard for this year. It’s a lighter weight which is great for Texas, and also great for layering under all kinds of jackets and coats! It’s a bit of an oversized fit – I’m wearing the small in this sweater. It is suuuuper soft and the perfect shade of grey that goes with everything.
