On the last week of my California trip, I spent a morning shopping at the Westfield UTC shopping center and grabbing lunch at Din Tai Fung – it’s a must if you love soup dumplings like I do! In addition to this top, sports bra and legging set I picked up at ALO YOGA, I hit it big at Zara. I snagged four chic blazers, a pair of pants and a top! I find that stores like Zara are very hit or miss, but it was certainly a hit for me on this trip. This black blazer was one of those purchases! I loved the longer hem on this style, the glam gold buttons and structured shoulder pads. It’s cool and fun, but still classic and wearable for everyday. I also picked up this cropped black blazer, this red blazer, this pretty blue blazer (and the matching pants), and this fitted top.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, another new item to grace my wardrobe is this pair of black and gold Chanel slingbacks! I was at the boutique in Highland Park Village to send a bag off for repair, and wasn’t planning on buying anything new… but here we are. The color combo is classic, and perfect for the upcoming holiday season! I’m thrilled to have another lower-heeled option too. Comfortable and very wearable! They obviously look chic with jeans and a blazer, but I plan to dress them up with dresses for parties and such too.
