Happy Thursday! Hope everybody is having a great week. My backyard is really coming along, and I think the hardscaping part will be done by this weekend!! The concrete was poured last weekend, and this week they’ve been prepping for the installation of the artificial turf and cleaning up. I’m planning to wait on buying and installing the various trees and plants for the space, as everything is so expensive and in demand following the crazy winter storm we had here in Texas! I’m in no hurry either, since this whole backyard renovation project is so pricey. It’s nice to have a couple months of a break in spending!!! With that said, I definitely plan on starting to use the space now that the weather has warmed up. I’m sure Reeses is eager to have her backyard back! Lots more playtime in her future back there!
