As promised, here’s an office update! I shared the design plan for the space in this post, followed by this post sharing an update after the rug arrived and picture frame moulding was installed. The next step was to repaint the entire space! My interior designer, Amelia, suggested we do a monochrome look in here and paint walls, ceiling, cabinetry, doors and trim in the same color. After ordering samples from Clare Paint (more about that + their business in this post!), we decided the color Chill was the perfect choice. It looked amazing with the rug and drape fabric samples! I absolutely love how the color looks on all surfaces – so chic, calming and elegant.

It’ll be awhile before I can order all of the furniture for the space, but last week I did go ahead and place the order for our new desks. We’ve been using these small desks from West Elm, but they are just too small with the big monitors we use – it’ll be so nice to have more tabletop space for our tech stuff, but also for a lamp and other office accessories. In addition to furniture, I need to order a brass faucet + hardware for the bar, as well as a mini fridge! The mini fridge will probably be the last purchase I make for this space. Scroll down for more photos of my office right now! I’ll be sure to share another update once I get some additional furniture and drapes. Stay tuned!!

Also, don’t miss this jumpsuit. It’s under $100 and so cute + comfortable! I never thought I’d be a jumpsuit person, but here we are. I’m 5’9 and busty, so I sized up to a large and it fits perfectly! I love how the belt cinches the waist and that the pockets are useable!! I plan to wear it with sneakers and sandals for casual daytime looks, but you could easily dress it up with neutral heels if that’s more your vibe.

{ Disclosure: Clare Paint gifted me the paint for this project in exchange for promotion – thank you for supporting the brands that support my blog!! }
