Last week I got this darling dress in the mail, and couldn’t wait to share it! It’s only $40 and available in sizes XS-4X, and it’s the perfect comfy silhouette for whatever you’re up to these days. It’s flowy for lounging and working from home, but super cute for outings too! I’m wearing a size small here and the fit is spot on, pun intended. One other detail I must mention is the tie details at the back!! So delicate and pretty. It’s also fully lined, so it’ll be great as we head into the hot days of summer later this year!

In addition to showing off this adorable polka dot dress, I wanted to share an update on my bookshelves! I think we’re nearly there. I recently ordered two faux orchid options (one single and a larger arrangement with multiple stems) that I’m planning to test out on the top shelf with the layered art. I may end up swapping the art on the top shelf to opposite sides, but other than that I’m pleased with how this space has turned out. I love the mix of black, white, gold and tan on these shelves! It’s going to look so good once my furniture arrives next month.

If I ever do decide to redecorate these shelves, these pieces look amazing in my bedroom as well, so I could totally move some of these in there should the mood strike! I’ll be sure to report back once I’ve gotten the orchid options in. Speaking of faux plants, I recently purchased this faux bird of paradise tree and black planter for my bedroom! See below for a pic. I ordered moss and need to prop it up within the planter, but otherwise I think it looks so good! Now I’m just waiting on my bedside chests to be made and decide on a fabric for my accent pillow. The chests had a 12-14 week lead time, so it may be awhile before I share the final photos of my bedroom!
