Hope you guys are having a great week so far! Even with our current social distancing circumstances, my birthday weekend was pretty perfect. On Friday night I grabbed dinner with two friends who I hadn’t seen in a while, at a restaurant I hadn’t dined in (or take out!) since the start of COVID-19. Saturday was pretty low key as most of my friends were actually out of town for various reasons, but I did grab happy hour with one of my girlfriends at 4! I also baked cupcakes and spent some quality time with Reeses. Sunday was a bit more of a celebration when I grabbed brunch outside with my girls at Bilboquet! Seeing friends, getting out of the house and eating good meals was really all I could ask for on my birthday.

Also, last week I sent Reeses to doggie day care at The Pooch Patio for the first time… it is a game changer!! Not only does she love it and get wiped out from it for a full 24 hours, but it allows me a couple days of uninterrupted work time. As I mentioned last week, I’ve been feeling like I haven’t accomplished much since getting her because I haven’t been as productive – I’m excited to get some of that time back! Right now I’m only sending her twice a week, but it’s nice to know I can send her more often if my work load picks up or I just need a break. Highly recommend doing day care if you have a puppy!
