When packing for New York, I noticed I don’t have many heavy sweaters in my closet. Spending the majority of my past falls and winters in Dallas, I’ve never really needed anything really thick or warm. Just a lightweight cashmere usually does the trick! But with a few cold-weather trips like this past weekend, London/Germany and Chicago coming up, I’ve been on the hunt for a few styles with a little more oomph to them. Nordstrom is one of my favorite places to shop for sweaters – they have so many amazing brands and a variety of price points to choose from! I purchased this $68 sweater right before my trip to the Hamptons last month and it has quickly become my favorite sweater!
If you follow me on InstaStories, you’ve seen me wear it almost a dozen times already. This sweater is SO cozy! Not just soft, but actually warm. It’s definitely a thicker fabric than my other sweaters and doesn’t fit under some of my more tailored coats, but it works great on its own and under parkas and more oversized styles like this and this! Anyway, I’m obsessed with it. Soft, super warm, and budget-friendly? That’s a winter no-brainer. I’m wearing a small in the sweater and it still fits a little oversized – size down for a more fitted look!
If you’re looking for more winter-ready sweaters on a budget, don’t miss these other styles under $100 from Nordstrom:
- I also have this simple grey turtleneck! It’s super soft, under $80 and I love the longer length.
- This waffle knit sweater is now on sale for under $50! The beige color is right up my alley.
- Looking for a simple crewneck? This one is thick and cozy, but a great everyday basic for only $60.
- Love the textured rib look on this extended size turtleneck!
- Adore the neutral color block stripe detail on this sweater!
- Here’s another nice crewneck style in the same super soft yarn as the turtleneck I linked above!
- This charcoal turtleneck would be so chic with leather pants and booties for a night out this winter!
- This sparkle sweater is available in extended sizes and perfect for holiday parties this season!
