I thoroughly enjoyed being able to cozy up in New York, and much to my surprise (and delight!) we got a lovely little cold front in Dallas lastt week! The high didn’t go above 69 all week, with the lowest low at 32 degrees… this is the earliest it’s gotten this cold in years, and I’m loving it!! In addition to wear my new coats in Dallas over the last week, I’ve also been debuting some of my Hamptons purchases. First, you saw me wear my new Golden Goose sneakers from Tenet while working from home on Monday, and the very next day I debuted this top I found at Apiece Apart!

From the neutral plaid and gold threading to the ruffled neckline, this shirt is so me. It’s a piece I can wear casually with flat boots or sneakers for daytime, but the pretty gold details make it easy to dress up too! I’d probably style it with a black skirt or leather pants for a night out. I’m obsessed! I think I’m going to wear it on Thanksgiving Day – it’s just the kind of cute and casual piece that makes sense for a day of feasting with family.

I’ll be debuting another one of my Hamptons purchases this Friday night at our big SMU 10 year reunion party! It’s this beautiful beige reversible shearling vest that I found on major sale at the AERIN store in East Hampton. So fabulous! Haven’t figured out how I want style it yet, but I’ll probably do a turtleneck sweater, jeans or leather pants, and heeled boots. Can’t wait to celebrate!

SIZING NOTES: Coat runs really big! I’m wearing a US size 4 and it is still huge! Definitely size down. Shirt is true to size – wearing a 6 here. Jeans and boots are true to size!
