J.Crew has been a go-to brand of mine since high school, so nearly two decades! It was actually one of the very first brands I partnered with when I started my blog. I hosted an event for the J.Crew store at The Domain in Austin in the fall of 2012. Needless to say, we go way back! From quality coats to the perfect-fitting pair of jeans, I’ve purchased just about every kind of clothing item and accessory from this all-American label. The quality is on point for the price, and they’re so good at staying on top of trends while maintaining a timeless appeal. They are also one of the few brands fully embracing size inclusivity – they carry sizes XXS-3X / 00-24. It’s no surprise J.Crew is also one of Meghan Markle’s favorites! She owns these boots, this shirt and this cardigan (which she wore just two weeks ago)!

When J.Crew reached out about a partnership to promote their fall collection, it was a no-brainer. If you live in Texas like I do, sweaters and coats may be the last thing on your mind right now… but nothing like a little fall inspo to get your wish list and wardrobe ready for the season! Whenever I’m shopping for new wardrobe staples, I take a peek into my closet and identify pieces I don’t already have. For example, I recently donated a bunch of old coats I no longer wore, and realized I was in need of a classic black style for everyday casual wear. What I like about this style is its easy fit, spacious pockets (a must for me on the go!), and lightweight wool, ideal for Texas winters.

  • The next coat on my list is this double-breasted style! The Sienna color looks like such a rich camel hue… my kind of neutral!
  • I love a good mock neck sweater. It’s probably the neckline I gravitate towards most in the fall/winter season! I picked up this style in natural and it is such a pretty ivory hue – the best basic. Tempted to also get it in grey! I’m wearing a small.
  • Nothing more elegant than a winter white outfit! Thinking of snagging this skirt in ivory.
  • If you’re looking to invest in a comfortable flat boot for the season, don’t miss this style! They come in black or brown.
  • I’m including this chic blouse in my Fall/Winter Work Capsule Wardrobe (hopefully launching next week). Such a sleek staple you can style day to night with ease.
  • These jeans I’m wearing in this post feature an on-trend button fly and are in the coolest smokey blue wash for fall! They’re true to size, and very stretch and comfortable.
  • This ruffle-hem dress is such a cute option for weddings this fall! Shocked it’s under $150. Also really love this one!

PS: because it’s still a million degrees here in Dallas, I took these photos inside at Homewood! If you haven’t been to Homewood yet, it’s a delicious restaurant + bar on Oak Lawn. I actually celebrated my birthday here with my girlfriends in July! The interiors are gorgeous and the perfect setting for capturing these rich fall pieces – thank you again to Homewood for letting me use your space as a backdrop!!! Don’t miss this Parker House Rolls when you go for dinner…
