Pearls have long been an elegant staple in a woman’s jewelry case, but in the last couple of years we’ve seen them appear on everything from cardigan sweaters to trendy little handbags! This trend is one I’ve personally bought into more than once, and is one I’m continuing to invest in this coming season. My past purchases have been this belt, this bag and this sweater, but my most recent acquisition is this pearl-trim miniskirt!

Such a cute piece for a night out, don’t you think? Right now I’m styling it with sleeveless tops like this Vince top I got during the #NSALE, but I plan to wear this skirt into fall/winter with black or white sweaters and tights. Quick note on sizing – this brand tends to run small and narrow, so I got a size 3 (US size 8)!
