Clearly, I cannot get enough of island-inspired items at the moment! This week’s collage was inspired by this gorgeous turquoise color – hoping the water is as clear as that when I get down to the BVI’s this weekend. While I am a big fan of neutrals for year-round wear, I do like to experiment with color and fun prints during the warmer months of the year.

If you caught yesterday’s post, you’ll know I have a good mix of both that I’m packing for my trip! Speaking of travel, I also ordered this baby on Amazon over the weekend. I take my heavy Nikon D850, laptop and other tech accessories wherever I travel and up until now I’ve been using a tech messenger bag to protect and organize these items. Naturally, it’s caused me some back problems since I have to wear it over my shoulder. I’ve decided to trade it in for a rolling tech backpack instead. It’s got plenty of room for all of my tech necessities and a ton of room to spare for storing other random items like jewelry, sunglasses, clutches, beauty products, etc. It will definitely house more than just tech stuff for me!

I’m very excited to be able to roll it around (and rest my tote on top!) as opposed to hauling the messenger around on my back! Needless to say, I’ve achieved total nerd status and couldn’t be more thrilled about it.
