Happy Friday! I hope you all are looking forward to a fun weekend! I’m actually headed home from Vail today, so my weekend will likely be filled with catching up on work, getting unpacked and potentially reorganizing parts of my closet for fall! I’ll also be starting a major detox – I probably gained ten pounds this week (totally worth it!), but need to get back to my healthy eating routine once I’m home. Whole Foods here I come! As far as the closet goes… I haven’t had a chance to switch out my summer dresses with my coats, and I may display my fall/winter shoes, boots, bags and scarves more prominently now that we’re heading into the new season. It’s so fun to switch out your closet this time of year, as it allows you to rediscover pieces you may have forgotten about and gets you so excited for cool weather! Anyway, that’s another post topic I’ll cover another time.

These photos were taken our first night in Vail outside of the Gorsuch store. If you haven’t been and are visiting Colorado soon, make a plan to swing by one! And if you think the exterior is impressive, just wait until you walk inside. The Vail outpost is HUGE and full of so many amazing items. Clothing, furniture, gifts, tabletop pieces, winter boots and ski coats, and more. It’s a luxury label lover’s paradise – they have Brunello Cucinelli, Moncler, Etro, Nancy Gonzalez, Bogner and more!

After spending some time perusing the store and shopping around, Katie and I walked over to Root and Flower, and adorable little cocktail bar up the street. We discovered it also converts into a coffee shop in the morning – such a great use of the real estate, don’t you think? We only went at night, but we went a couple times and loved it! Highly recommend getting a tequila citrus tonic (basically a gin & tonic, but instead of gin you get tequila – obsessed!) and from the menu I also loved the Pisconasso! The Pisconasso is the orange drink in the photo above. So fruity and refreshing! They also have a great selection of wine for you wine lovers out there… highly recommend stopping by Root and Flower the next time you’re in Vail! Stay tuned for more from our trip and have a great weekend!

PS: so excited to finally debut my new bag and scarf! You guys know how much I love my neutrals, and these two pair perfectly together just as much as they are knockouts on their own… Such gorgeous year-round pieces! Obsessed.
