Paper London Bianca Stripe Dress | The Edit

What did everyone think about yesterday’s reveal?! It feels so good to finally be done with at least one space in my house. Decorating rooms takes a very long time, so it may be awhile before I share another one… I’m guessing the next spot will be my bathroom! Stay tuned for more home updates and finds…

In the meantime how gorgeous is this EDIT? I’m totally drooling over this striped number. So elegant and effortless for summer date night or a beach vacay, don’t you think? I have so many things on my wish list for spring/summer still (haven’t been shopping all that much lately) – while you’d usually be able to see my obsessions in real time on THE SHOP, it’s been going through a rough patch. I briefly touched on it in Instagram Stories yesterday, but the lowdown is this: ever since I started THE SHOP, it’s been connected to rewardStyle’s feed (the affiliate network I use to monetize my content!) in a fancy way that let my developer customize how the products were displayed. rewardStyle has a widget you can use (which most bloggers do), but I don’t love the way it looks – I’m a stickler for branding. Anyway, over the last few months rewardStyle has made some changes on their end that have ended up causing problems with the way the products feed into THE SHOP. THE SHOP is one of my absolute favorite parts of the blog and I know it’s become a fan favorite among the majority of my readers… needless to say, I’ve been pretty frustrated and annoyed with all of these issues!

Instead of settling for the less attractive widget, I’ve asked my developer to create an all-out custom shop for me! With this new setup I’ll have to manually input products, which can be tedious since I update THE SHOP nearly every single day. It is definitely going to be more work on my end! The upside to this new setup though, is I’ll have full control over it! No more bugs, no more “feed” issues, nothing. My developer is working on these changes this week, so hopefully we’ll be able to get it back up and running in no time! My apologies to those of you who have been loyal visitors to that part of my website – I know it’s disappointing to see “THE SHOP is down for maintenance”, but fingers crossed we can get this taken care of quickly and never deal with issues like this again! I’ll be sure to let you guys know when THE SHOP is back in action… stay tuned!!!
