Last year I created a complete holiday outfit guide, featuring looks and ideas for every event and occasion that happens during the holiday season! While I’m definitely going to do that, these past two weeks have been absolutely CRAZY, and I wasn’t able to shoot as many outfits as I’d hoped. The guide will now not be complete until after Thanksgiving – I’m hoping my mom or sister will help me shoot some of the looks while I’m in Austin for the holiday weekend! But with that said, I did already shoot the Thanksgiving look and obviously wanted to share while the timing still makes sense!
I don’t know about you, but on Thanksgiving I like being cozy and comfortable. As in stretchy jeans, wear-all-day boots and warm details. While being a day of giving thanks, it’s also a day of indulging in juicy turkey, creamy twice-baked mashed potatoes, flavorful stuffing, rolls, gravy and the works! “These are my Thanksgiving pants!”, as Joey Tribbiani would say. Don’t be surprised if you see me wearing this exact outfit on Thursday! It really is the most comfortable outfit I’ve put together in awhile.
You’ve heard me go on and on about these jeans, but I just bought a fresh pair down a size since I’ve lost a little more weight! So now I have two pairs of the same jeans. That’s how much I love them! I also must tell you about this LOFT sweater I snagged a couple weeks back. It is SO soft, and the blouson sleeves add an elegant touch to an otherwise basic tunic sweater. I love how the long hem covers my stomach and butt, especially on days where I’m indulging! Top the look off with a cozy blanket scarf featuring rich autumn hues. This one is under $50!
I’ve also received numerous questions about these boots on Instagram, and unfortunately they are several years old by Sergio Rossi. If you’re on the hunt for a similar pair, I’d recommend checking out this pair, this pair or this pair.
